The testimony of one of the friends of Portuguese tourist Luis Miguel Varela Mendez, who was stabbed to death in Ksamil by Sokrat Lipan alias Vata, has come to light. Here's how he explains the dynamics of the serious incident.
Adib Ghanmi, French citizen:
"I was with my friends, seven people, and we were celebrating at the 'Principote' club, and after the party was over, we were hanging out on the beach. A person came there, who was wearing short green clothes, aged 25-30, normal body, short hair, who was Albanian, but spoke French and insulted a friend of mine by calling her mother, who said: Why are you insulting me, because my mother is sacred. This person hit him with his head, we all got into a conflict.
"Then a person wearing white clothes, with long hair, who was holding a knife in his hand, came and first stabbed a friend of mine named Tourpal in the leg and then stabbed my friend, who was stabbed in the heart, and at this moment, people started screaming, and about 10-15 security guards came in the direction, who I'm not sure if they got into a conflict because I grabbed the person who shot me in the head by the hands, but he pushed me and I fell into the water."
Asked if he knows the person who stabbed him, he says: "If I see him, I know him."
The prosecution has provided a photo of citizen Sokrat Vata and he confirmed that he was the person who stabbed his friend and pointed the knife at others.
