Petrit Ndoci, convicted of robbery with violence and illegal possession of weapons, has escaped from the Reç prison. He had been released on bail and has not returned.
According to the DBP, Ndoci was supposed to return today at 12:30, but when he did not show up, a call was made to the contact number. His brother answered the phone, who said that Ndoci had left.
The brother explained that he had left a letter, writing that he loved his family, but that he was leaving.
Ndoc had two years left in prison to serve. He had been treated several times with compensatory leave.
