Donald Trump has announced the release of the first part of the Pentagon files related to UFOs and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), stating that he is fulfilling one of his promises to increase transparency to the American public.
According to the announcement, the US Department of Defense has made documents and materials related to unidentified flying objects available to the public for the purpose of their study and evaluation.
In late April, Trump announced that his administration would release as much information as possible on UFOs in the near future. He has now ordered relevant institutions to identify and declassify government data related to extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and unidentified flying objects.
Trump has repeatedly accused previous administrations of a lack of transparency regarding this issue, while considering the publication of the documents a step towards fully informing the public.
In a post on the social network Truth Social, he wrote:
“In accordance with my promise to you, the Department of War has released the first part of the UFO/UAP files for public inspection and study. In an effort for complete and maximum transparency, it has been my honor to direct the Administration to locate and provide government records relating to extraterrestrial and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and unidentified flying objects.
While previous Administrations have not shown transparency on this topic, with these new Documents and Videos, the public can decide for themselves: “WHAT IS HAPPENING?” Have fun and enjoy!”.
