The White House has announced that President Donald Trump is interested in Arab countries contributing financially to the cost of the war with Iran.
White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt stated during a press conference that this is an idea that the president has discussed and that he may talk more about in the future.
"It's an idea that I know he has and something that I think you'll hear more about from him," Leavitt told reporters at the White House.
She made these comments after being asked by a journalist whether Arab countries would get involved to help finance the war.
“I think it's something the president would be very interested in urging them to do,” Leavitt added.
