British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has declared that the United Kingdom will not be involved in the war in the Middle East.
"This is not our war and we will not be drawn into it," Starmer said, responding to a question about whether London was considering sending British troops to support the United States and Israel's operations against Iran.
According to BBC reporting, Starmer clarified that the United Kingdom is only taking "protective measures" to protect the lives of British citizens, its interests and allies in the region.
The British Prime Minister added that London will continue to defend its interests and work to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing once again that his country will not be involved in this conflict.
