Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has described the 15-point package proposed by the United States as "excessive and unreasonable."
According to London-based Iran International, Baghaei stressed that there has been no direct contact with Washington, while messages from the US have come through intermediaries, including Pakistan.
He added that Iran's position remains clear and that the country will continue to focus on its own framework for the issues under discussion.
