The military spending of the United States of America, as part of the joint American and Israeli operation against Iran, has so far reached 29 billion dollars, according to the latest Pentagon statement.
The news was announced by the Pentagon's financial director, Jules Horst, who explained that this amount includes not only the operational costs of military interventions, but also funds intended for the renovation, repair and replacement of equipment damaged or used during operations.
According to Horst, the current figure represents an increase of $4 billion compared to the report made at the end of last month, reflecting the intensification of military engagement and expansion of logistical support in the region.
At the end of April, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that US spending on the military operation against Iran had reached $25 billion, which indicates a significant increase within a relatively short period.
Clashes and tensions in the Middle East have significantly increased the financial burden on Washington, while the US administration continues to support strategic operations in cooperation with Israel, in one of the most sensitive geopolitical conflicts of the moment.
