Albanian national team striker Yasir Asani was in Tehran at the time of the US and Israeli bombings of Iran. The footballer, who plays for Iranian club Esteghlal FC, has reacted through social media to calm his followers.
"Asani" announced that he is in good health and expressed hope that the situation will stabilize as soon as possible.
"Hello everyone! I'm fine and I hope you are also fine, safe and happy in your beautiful country. I hope that everything will soon return to normal and there will be peace for everyone," he wrote on Instagram.
