Israel has warned Iran of further attacks if Tehran rejects a United States proposal related to its nuclear program.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that if the proposed agreement is rejected, Israel will take "even more painful" military action against new targets in Iran.
According to Katz, Iran is "at a historic turning point," emphasizing that there are two possible paths: giving up its nuclear program and what he described as "terrorism," in accordance with the American proposal, or facing severe consequences.
"If the Iranian regime chooses the second option, it will very soon realize that there are even more painful targets than those that have been hit so far," he said during an official ceremony.
The statements come at a time of heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, against the backdrop of international efforts for an agreement on the nuclear issue.
