At least 72,345 Palestinians have been killed and another 172,250 injured since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, according to reported data.
Also, since a US-brokered ceasefire came into effect last October, the situation on the ground has remained fragile and violence has continued. During that period, at least 766 Palestinians have been killed and 2,147 injured.
These figures show that, despite the announced agreements to reduce fighting, violence has not completely stopped and daily incidents continue to cause casualties and injuries in various territories of the Gaza Strip.
The humanitarian situation remains extremely dire, with destroyed infrastructure, overwhelmed hospitals and severe shortages of basic supplies, while residents still face constant risk from attacks and bombings.
