The militant movement Hezbollah will not adhere to any agreement that may be reached in talks between Israel and Lebanon, which are expected to take place in the United States on Tuesday, according to statements quoted by the Associated Press by its representative Wafiq Safa.
"As for the results of these negotiations between Lebanon and the Israeli enemy, we are not at all interested or concerned about them," Safa said.
"We are not bound by what they agree to," he added.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has previously stated that Israel will demand the disarmament of Hezbollah not only in the southern border areas, but throughout Lebanon, as part of the negotiations. Both countries will be represented at the ambassadorial level in the United States.
