New details are coming to light from the scandal at JPMorgan Chase, where Albanian CEO Lorna Hajdini is accused of sexual assault against a former employee.
Chirayu Rana, 35, a former banker at JPMorgan Chase, alleges that Hajdini drugged and forced him into sexual intercourse, threatening his career. He filed the lawsuit on April 28, 2025, in New York Supreme Court under the pseudonym “John Doe.”
Meanwhile, sources at the New York Post report that Rana lied to the company about a personal matter, claiming his father was seriously ill in order to take nearly three months of paid leave. According to these sources, he used this period to prepare the lawsuit against Hajdini, taking various leaves between December 2024 and May 2025, as well as working remotely.
Lorna Hajdini, 37, denies all charges. Her lawyers said: “Lorna categorically denies the allegations. She has never been involved in any inappropriate behaviour with this individual and has never been to the location where the alleged sexual assault is alleged to have taken place.”
The investigations are expected to continue, while the media and the public await new developments on this issue that has shocked the financial community and beyond.
But in the meantime, her reputation was destroyed, and the Albanian media rushed to cover it.
