Albanian head of US bank accused of sexually abusing colleague: These are

Following the lawsuit filed by a former employee of the American bank, JPMorgan Chase, alleging that he was sexually abused by Albanian manager Lorna Hajdini, the financial institution has reacted, saying that everything in the lawsuit is fabricated, reports the New York Post.

According to sources, the person in question is Chirayu Rana, 35, currently a manager at an investment firm. He had filed a lawsuit this week, under the pseudonym "John Doe", against Lorna Hajdini, an executive at the American bank.

In the lawsuit, he claimed he was forced into sexual intercourse through pressure and threats, allegations that were first published by the Daily Mail, referring to court documents that were later withdrawn for "corrections."

For her part, Hajdini has categorically denied the allegations, stating through her lawyers that 'she has never engaged in inappropriate behavior and that she has never been to the place where the incident is alleged to have occurred'.

The lawsuit also included JPMorgan Chase itself, accusing it of negligence and retaliation. However, the bank has responded by stressing that a thorough internal investigation, which included analysis of communications and staff testimony, found no evidence to support the allegations.

According to the bank, the complainant did not cooperate with the investigation and did not provide substantial facts to support his allegations.

Internal sources indicate that the two individuals did not have a direct working relationship and that Hajdini had no influence on his financial compensation, casting doubt on the validity of the claims.

Meanwhile, the case remains in legal proceedings and a trial date has not yet been set, while further developments are expected to shed more light on one of the most controversial cases in the financial sector in recent times.
