Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kiev's position on Kosovo remains unchanged, confirming that Ukraine continues to not recognize Kosovo's declared independence.
In response to a question about whether Serbia can still count on this Ukrainian stance, Zelensky stressed that his country respects territorial integrity and international law.
"Our position regarding Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence remains unchanged," the Ukrainian president declared.
Zelensky added that Ukraine is grateful to states that respect its territorial integrity and sovereignty, specifically mentioning the position that Crimea is part of Ukraine.
He also referred to Serbia, emphasizing that Belgrade has also not changed its position regarding the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Zelensky's statements thus confirm that, despite Ukraine's relations with Kosovo and cooperation with partners in the region, Kiev continues to maintain the same official position on Kosovo's status.
