The end of the European football season is approaching and this weekend could bring the announcement of several champions in the continent's most important leagues, with very interesting scenarios in the race for the title.
In La Liga, Barcelona are on the verge of winning their 29th league title. The Catalan team, led by Pedri and without Lamine Yamal for the rest of the season, will face Osasuna. To be crowned champions this weekend, Barça must win and at the same time hope that Real Madrid do not win against Espanyol.
In Serie A, Inter are just one step away from the title, leading with 79 points and leaving behind Napoli and Milan. The Blues await Parma and a victory would mathematically secure the trophy. In fact, Inter could be declared champion before they even take to the pitch, if Napoli are defeated by Como and Milan do not win against Sassuolo.
In Turkey, Galatasaray are also very close to another triumph. With 74 points, seven more than Fenerbahçe, the Istanbul team can secure a fourth consecutive title if they can defeat Samsunspor on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in Portugal, Porto are very close to reclaiming the title, holding a seven-point lead over Benfica. Porto could also celebrate before the match against Alverca, should Benfica lose to Famalicao. If Benfica draws, then Porto will only need to avoid defeat to seal the title.
This weekend promises strong emotions and could bring some new champions to European football.
