In the evening hours, the 6-year-old girl, NA, injured in today's serious incident in the Korça district, arrived at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center for medical treatment.
The patient was received in the emergency room of the Burn-Plastic Service by the medical team, who was in constant communication with the doctors who accompanied her during the transport from Korça to Tirana.
After assessing her health condition, the minor, currently in critical condition, was immediately hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Service at the QSUT, where she is being treated by pediatricians, resuscitators, and burn-plastic specialists, according to all medical protocols in force.
A few minutes after the 6-year-old's arrival, the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Evis Sala, arrived at the QSUNT, accompanied by the general director of QSUNT, Anxhela Paparizo, and they are closely monitoring her condition, in constant communication with the joint medical team of the Burn-Plastic Service and the Pediatric Intensive Therapy Service at QSUNT.
The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs expresses its condolences for the loss of the family members and is in constant communication with the University Hospital, minute by minute, regarding the minor's health condition.
