An 18-month-old child with an Albanian father and a British mother was fatally attacked by a dog in his backyard while playing.
According to reports from "Protothema", the child was in the yard when the family's pit bull, for a still unclear reason, viciously attacked him, causing serious injuries.
At around 1:00 p.m., the alarmed parents called emergency services. The child was transported to the hospital, but despite efforts, doctors confirmed his death.
The child's father is of Albanian origin, while the mother is British. They have lived on the island of Zakynthos for several years.
