Former Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Artan Grubi, has been arrested. According to media reports, Grubi was handcuffed at the Bllaca border crossing.
Macedonian media sources report that he voluntarily presented himself in the early hours of the morning near the Blace border crossing, on the border with Kosovo. Immediately after his appearance, the authorities took the appropriate legal measures, placing him in handcuffs.
According to the investigation bodies, Artan Grubi is involved in a matter related to suspicions of abuse of official position, corruption and violation of public procurement procedures, within the framework of the case related to the functioning and contracts of the State Lottery of North Macedonia.
