Galatasaray are very close to signing Rafael Leao from Milan. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish champions have reached an agreement in principle with the Portuguese striker, after significantly improving their offer on Friday.
The 27-year-old has agreed to a transfer to Galatasaray, while the Turkish club has already found common ground with Milan for a deal that is expected to be worth over 45 million euros, including bonuses and a resale clause.
Galatasaray have intensified their efforts for Leao in recent days and improving financial conditions appear to have been crucial in convincing the Portuguese.
Aston Villa was also in the running for the striker, who had made concrete efforts to transfer him, but Galatasaray's latest offer has made Leao lean towards a new adventure in the Turkish championship.
If the deal is finalized, Leao would leave Milan after several seasons at San Siro, to join one of the most ambitious projects in Turkish football.
