Ervin Salianji held an enthusiastic meeting with members and supporters of the Democratic Party in Lezha today. The former Democratic MP gave a clear political message, emphasizing that he has no project to create another political force and that his future remains within the DP.
"I will not create another political force, my home is the DP. We will change the DP, we will make it victorious," Salianji said in front of his supporters.
From Lezha, he emphasized that the main problem is not the democrats who react and demand change, but the leadership that, according to him, does not listen to them and does not produce ideas to represent them.
"We see how the 5 fantastic people who sit in the leadership of the DP do not listen to the concerns of the democrats. The concern is those who do not listen, not simple democrats. It is not a concern why we gather from hall to hall more and more, but why the leadership of the DP has been abandoned. The concern is not our ideas, but the lack of their ideas that is driving the democrats away," declared Salianji.
He harshly criticized the current leadership of the DP, describing it as disconnected from the grassroots and focused on personal privileges, while the Democrats, according to him, continue to remain united and determined for change.
In his speech, Salianji underlined that the real strength of the Democratic Party stems from the votes and support of the membership and that no leader can prevent the unity of the democrats to challenge the current government and restore the DP to a winning force.
