The Constitutional Court Panel will decide today on the fate of Prime Minister Edi Rama's request regarding the fate of the government's number two and at the same time Minister of Infrastructure Belinda Balluku.
The head of government demands her reinstatement, as he considers the decision of the GJKKO to suspend Ms. Balluku from exercising her functions as interference in executive affairs.
Today the panel, with rapporteur Sandër Beçi and members Marsida Xhaferllari and Sonila Bejtja, will give the first answer to this issue.
Belinda Balluku is a defendant by SPAK for fixing the tender for the construction of the Llogara tunnel and is under investigation for the Lot 4 Unaza e Madhe tender. The Special Court has imposed suspension from office and a ban on leaving the country on her.
