Fatmir Mediu, the leader of the Republican Party, has found the right moment to reflect on the world order. In an interview with Syri TV, he appeared convinced that Donald Trump has restored America as the "main geopolitical authority," while he did not hesitate to warn about the dangers of the Balkans if Ukraine's borders change.
The media enthusiastically welcomed Trump's meetings in Alaska and Washington, seeing them as a sign of an imminent peace between Ukraine and Russia. But as an expert on world geostrategies, he did not fail to give one piece of advice for Europe: to find a common language in foreign policy, since - according to him - Brussels, Rome and Paris each speak separately.
And so, the former Minister of Defense who is remembered for Gërdec and who is today under investigation by SPAK, has taken on the role of global strategist. Probably few remember his success as Minister of Defense, and fortunately Trump and Europe do not plan to listen to Mediu's advice. God save the world from a Gërdec with global ambitions.
