A moment of tension was noted at the meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, during the report of the director of the Cadastre, Lorena Goxhobelli, who was informing the deputies about the issues of legalization and digitalization.
According to sources from the meeting, while Goxhobelli was speaking, MP Elisa Spiropali intervened, asking for more respect for the MPs. "A little more respect for the MPs, don't talk to us like we are MPs," Spiropali is reported to have said.
At that moment, Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted, addressing Spiropali in harsh tones. "Don't open your mouth at all. Don't speak at all, at least in my presence," Rama is reported to have said during the meeting.
After this intervention, Spiropali made some brief comments, but then stopped reacting and did not continue the discussion.
