The candidate for the Municipality of Vlora, Dionis Sota, supported by opposition parties, spoke about the self-declaration form he submitted to the CEC, where he declared that his highest level of education is secondary, while in the document he also appears with two names.
In an interview with Report TV, Sota said that his desire was to continue his higher studies in law, but since at that time diplomas were purchased, he decided to dedicate himself to work.
"I grew up in a time when diplomas were bought and I refused to join that dance. I started school, but I dropped out. I wanted to study law, but because of work I didn't. Now I take online courses," said Sota.
He also added that his candidacy as an independent in the November 9 local by-elections was a personal decision.
