DP Chairman Sali Berisha appeared this Monday at SPAK premises, in implementation of the security measure "compulsory appearance", within the framework of the investigations into the "Partizani" file.
After appearing before SPAK, Berisha made strong accusations against the justice system, describing it as "shameful and ridiculous."
He mentioned the case of judge Irena Gjoka and accused the former head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, of protecting her through anonymous investigations. "If there is a shameful and ridiculous system, it is this justice system. I will give you just one example. Irena with five surnames, who is protected by Altin Dumani, because to protect her he opened an anonymous investigation, to protect her from any kind of measure...", Berisha said.
He also criticized other justice institutions, citing the General Prosecutor's Office of Albania and the High Judicial Council, which he said have dragged out and defended decisions that he considers unjust.
