The "Together Movement" candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Arlind Qori, has reacted after Erion Veliaj's statement at the Constitutional Court, where the mayor said that his battle is also in defense of other candidates.
"What if they do this to Ogerta, Flori or Arlind? This is a battle for them too, so that a precedent is not created," Veliaj said before the court.
Qori responded with irony, distancing himself from Veliaj's comparison:
"Erion Veliaj has declared that he is fighting his battle with justice for me too, if I am elected mayor. Erion, I have no intention of stealing a single penny. If I go crazy and do like you, I will suffer 100 times worse than you!"
Qori emphasized that he does not see himself in the same position as Veliaj and that he does not intend to follow the same way of governing.
