Intensive patrols at sea continue to search for a person who was reported missing a few days ago from a ferry operating on the Greece-Italy route.
The Coast Guard and Border Police structures are continuously engaged with naval assets and inter-institutional coordination, with the aim of potentially locating the citizen in question, for whom there is still no concrete trace.
According to preliminary sources from the ferry crew, the person was reported missing while the ferry was en route between the two countries, raising doubts about how he could have disappeared. So far, it has not been confirmed whether he threw himself into the sea, fell accidentally, or if there are other circumstances that led to the loss of contact with him.
As part of the investigations and searches, a notice has also been issued for tourist boats, fishing boats and any other floating vehicles in the area, to be cautious and report any suspicious signals or any possible objects related to the case.
Investigations into this event continue in parallel with the search operation at sea, while authorities remain on full alert for any new developments.
