It took a fire engine to become stuck on the way to a burning building, in the area of Pharmacy 10, for the IMT to remember its duty and intervene to demolish an unauthorized construction near the QSUT.
The building in question, identified as a pharmacy, had occupied the passageway, directly obstructing the movement of emergency vehicles towards the scene. Only after images of the blocked fire truck, which could not penetrate the fire area, made the rounds on social networks, did the Inspectorate of Territorial Protection react by taking action today to demolish the building.
This situation also shows the "seriousness" of the IMT's actions in Tirana to demolish illegal constructions. It seems that some constructions manage to escape the eyes of the inspectorate and the Prime Minister's Facebook when they echo this action.
