A police officer was injured shortly after midnight under unclear circumstances.
The police officer was off duty at the time of the incident. He is currently in hospital with a non-life-threatening condition.

On 18.05.2026, at around 00:10, in the Shkoza area, under still unclear circumstances, citizen AK, around 30 years old, an off-duty police officer, was injured, suspected of being shot with a firearm.
The 30-year-old was transported to the hospital and is out of danger. Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services set up checkpoints and are continuing intensive checks in the area, with the aim of catching the perpetrator(s).
The investigative group and the Police Supervision Agency (AMP), under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, are at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator(s) and legally document the event.
