The Special Court held its next hearing against Kristin Shkreli, mayor of Vau i Dejës Municipality, who is accused of electoral corruption.
During Tuesday's hearing, several testimonies were heard and there were arguments between Shkreli's lawyers and SPAK.
Witness Anton Lumi
Witness Anton Lumi told the court that he does not know the mayor and showed his duties as an electrician for power lines in the villages of Shkodra. According to him, this process is becoming ridiculous because according to her, the mayor has not committed any crime as long as he has provided support to the residents for their needs, while the investment was carried out by OSHEE.
SPAK objected to Lumi's testimony during the hearing.
"The witness gave another statement during the preliminary investigation," declared prosecutor Dritan Prençi.
Witness Prek Kotaj
Prosecution: Are you aware of any repairs to these lines in the village of Stajkë? The elections were in May 2026, can you tell me if you worked before or after the elections?
Kotaj: I don't remember at all. My boss Jetmir Deda took me to lay a cable, October was the start of the work. There were locals and OSHEE workers there, there were other electricians.
Prosecution: What kind of work would you do?
Kotaj: I would lay cables.
Prosecution: What problems did this line have?
Kotaj: I don't know, I don't know.
Lawyers: Who ordered you to work on repairs in the village of Stajkë?
Kotaj: J. Deda.
Lawyers: Is this routine?
Witness: Yes, yes.
Lawyers: Do you know Kristjan Shkreli?
Witness: I don't know him, nor have I spoken to him.
Lawyers: Since the prosecutor is asking whether or not he stretched the cable, and this process was done with the cable stretched, I have no other questions for the witness.

Prokuroria: Dëshmitar, ku punoni?
Gavoci: Punoj pranë Bashkisë së Vaut të Dejës prej tetë vitesh, punoj si shofer.
Prokuroria: A mund të dëshmoni nëse keni punuar apo jo në një linjë elektrike të fshatit Stajkë, Vau i Dejës, qoftë hapje apo mbyllje gropash apo vendosje shtyllash?
Gavoci: Ndërmarrja jonë është vetëm për rrugë e kanale.
Prokuroria: A jeni në dijeni për linja elektrike?
Gavoci: Merr në telefon kryeplaku dhe thotë se është problem rruga. Unë jam banor i fshatit Stajkë dhe telat bien rrugës. Si fshat është zonë e madhe, është e hapur. Janë bërë rrugë, investime, nuk e di se kur janë bërë këto investime.
Prokuroria: Nëse ju orientoj me zgjedhjet e 11 majit, janë bërë para apo pas zgjedhjeve?
Gavoci: S’e mbaj mend, për Zotin.
Avokatët e Shkrelit: Cilat janë detyrat e tua?
Gavoci: Jam katunar dhe puna ime është të bëj kujdes, të punoj, mos me pi.
Avokatët: Mos me pi?
Gavoci: O zonjë, s’duhet me pi kur jam në punë.
Avokatët: A keni pasur probleme me energjinë elektrike?
Gavoci: Vazhdojmë të kemi probleme me energjinë elektrike, ik e eja, na thonë se do bëhet remont.
Avokatët: Po rruga?
Gavoci: Ata e kanë të shtruar, ua ka bërë firmë private, janë të kënaqur.
Gjatë seancës, SPAK kundërshtoi dëshminë në gjykatë të Gavocit, sepse ka dhënë një tjetër dëshmi gjatë hetimeve. Dëshmitari është shprehur se: “Më telefonoi drejtori im që të shkoja për shtyllat, pashë gropat e hapura dhe kujtoj se shtyllat vendoseshin me vinç dhe unë me fadromë bëja mbylljen e tyre”.
Pasi dëgjoi dëshmitë, GJKKO vendosi ta shtyjë procesin ndaj Shkrelit për në datë 19 maj.
