A serious road accident resulting in the loss of life of one person and the injury of three others was recorded on Saturday evening in the Lalëzi Bay area, where two vehicles collided.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. As a result of the collision, a 57-year-old man, who was traveling as a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the accident, lost his life.
The drivers of both vehicles, as well as another passenger, were also injured in the collision. The injured have received medical assistance and are under the care of doctors.
The police announced that they have arrested both drivers, after verifications showed that they were driving while intoxicated. Meanwhile, the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
