US President Donald Trump published a series of tweets late Friday, including an image generated by artificial intelligence, where he appears alongside senior officials near a swimming pool near the Lincoln Memorial.
The posts come after his announcement of the pool renovation plans, highlighting the way digital images are increasingly being used to shape public messages and political narratives around real projects.
Trump has frequently used social media and AI-generated images to promote political positions and ideas.
In the released image, he is seen smiling next to Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and a woman.
In April, Trump had also announced plans to renovate the pool with a design in the colors of the American flag, at an estimated cost of about $1.5 million.
