RSF's latest report for 2025 paints a grim picture of the safety of journalists around the world. 67 journalists were killed on duty or because of their profession in just one year — and half of these victims were in the Gaza Strip.
RSF emphasizes that this increase in the number of murders is a consequence of the criminal practices of the armed forces and organized crime, which are making the profession of journalist increasingly dangerous.
