The decision taken by Great Britain to recognize the Palestinian state has caused Israel to begin seeking supporters, and in London, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced that he had a telephone conversation with the chairwoman of the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom, Kemi Badenoch.

Through a status in X, the Minister stressed that the British government’s decision to recognize a “Palestinian state” represents a diplomatic mistake and a matter of great moral importance. According to the Israeli Foreign Minister, Badenoch also reiterated her strong opposition to the British government’s decision, remaining consistent with her previous public statements. The Israeli Minister appreciated this position and expressed gratitude for her support.
He also emphasized that Israel is aware that it has many friends in the United Kingdom and that it knows how to distinguish between the English people and the English government.
