Hamas submitted to mediators its response to the peace plan presented by US President Donald Trump, a few hours after Washington's ultimatum and warnings from the White House.
According to the Palestinian armed group's announcement, it agrees to hand over all hostages, alive and dead, in accordance with the points proposed by the American plan, within 72 hours.
Hamas also declares that it is ready to immediately begin negotiations through mediators, to determine the details necessary for the realization of the process.
The development comes as the US had set a deadline of Sunday for accepting the agreement, and the White House had increased pressure on the organization.
