Under police protection, 109 Israeli squatters launched a new raid on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem.
In a statement to Anadolu, the Jerusalem Islamic Endowments Administration said that 109 Israelis carried out raids on Al-Aqsa in two groups, in the morning and afternoon.
As reported, illegal settlers entered through the Mughrabi (Moroccan) Gate in the western wall of the complex and performed religious rituals in the mosque's courtyard.
Since 2003, despite the opposition of the Jerusalem Islamic Endowments Administration, Israeli police have allowed Israelis who have usurped Palestinian lands to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Endowments Administration calls these visits accompanied by Israeli forces raids. Palestinians say Israel is intensifying its violations aimed at Judaizing East Jerusalem, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and erasing its Arab and Islamic identity. /Trt World/
