The Israeli military has launched a new wave of attacks in Lebanon. Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces issued a new evacuation order for areas in Lebanon that it was planning to attack.
Avichay Adraee, a spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces, said that all residents south of the Zahrani River should immediately evacuate their homes and relocate north, as the army will target facilities of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia.
And this morning, the Israeli defense minister ordered the expansion of the operation. Addressing the Lebanese president, Israel Katz warned that if the government could not prevent Hezbollah from attacking his country, Israel would do it itself.
The Lebanese Health Ministry said today that 687 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since March 2.
