On the same wavelength as many European leaders was the statement of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis from Athens during the Bloomberg energy conference, where he openly emphasized that Greece will not participate in military operations in the Persian Gulf and in the conflict zone in the Middle East.
"The simple answer is: no, Greece will not participate in any operation around the theater of operations that are currently underway. And I doubt whether at this moment there is a great European readiness for such a mission," said Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
