Israeli forces killed three Palestinians, including a child, and wounded 12 others today, marking a new violation of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, medics said.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society said in a statement that the casualties were reported in an airstrike that targeted a civilian vehicle in Al-Mawasi, west of the city of Khan Younis.
She did not provide further details on the condition of the injured. Witnesses told Anadolu that the area where the vehicle was hit is filled with tents sheltering displaced civilians.
Israeli forces have violated the October 10 ceasefire almost daily, resulting in 671 deaths and 1,779 injuries, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The ceasefire has halted Israel's two-year war in Gaza, which has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and injured about 172,000 others since October 8, 2023, along with widespread destruction affecting 90 percent of the infrastructure.
