A 38-year-old woman has been charged with involvement in last month's theft at the Louvre Museum in Paris, French media reported. She is accused of complicity in organized theft and criminal conspiracy, and will appear in court on Saturday, where she will decide on a security measure.
The unidentified suspect was arrested this week along with four other people. Meanwhile, two men arrested earlier are now facing charges for the same offenses, having partially admitted their involvement in the robbery.
Jewelry worth an estimated 88 million euros ($102 million) was stolen from the world's most visited museum on October 19, in an event suspected to have been organized by a structured group.
