Ten people were stabbed on a train travelling from Doncaster in northern England to London on Saturday. British police have arrested two people in connection with the incident.
Police were called to a stabbing attack on a train at around 7.39pm at Huntingdon railway station. Witnesses said they saw a man armed with a large knife and passengers hiding in the train's toilets.
Videos shared on social media platforms showed heavily armed police officers entering the train. British police are investigating the circumstances of the attack. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the incident extremely disturbing.
"My thoughts are with those affected and I thank the emergency services for their response," he said in a message posted on the X platform.
