The protest has begun in several areas of Tirana, where students of the "Partizani" high school and medical students have boycotted classes to join the civic revolt.
High school students from "Partizan" have taken to the streets, blocking traffic and calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. During the protest, some of them set fire to garbage cans.
The protesters passed by the area known as "Madrase" and then headed towards the center of Tirana. Meanwhile, medical students have also joined the boycott of classes.
The youth mobilization comes a day after the protest in front of the Ministry of Education, which lasted for several hours and was accompanied by tensions, clashes and violence.
Following yesterday's protest, police have arrested 16 people and prosecuted 49 others.
