While violent clashes between protesting students and the police continue in Tirana, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held an electoral meeting in Dibër, where he unveiled a generous list of promises for Albanians.
Berisha declared that in the first week of coming to power he will establish a living wage of 200 euros, while salaries and pensions will be doubled.
And for those who may have doubts about where the money will be found, the DP leader had a simple answer: “This money is all there.” According to him, it is enough that it is not stolen by the current government.
Berisha also promised solutions to poverty, lack of medicine and economic problems, guaranteeing that everything is completely feasible.
So, while in the capital, students are protesting for their conditions and future, in Debar, the opposition has begun to distribute the welfare of the future government. For now, only with promises.
