Protests against the government continue this Friday in Tirana, where students and high school students have been joined by parents and citizens, expanding participation in the rallies that have entered their fourth day.
After marching on some of the main streets of the capital, the protesters headed back towards the Ministry of Education, the institution in front of which the first rallies of this wave of protests began.
"Rama, resign!" and "Down with the government!" were some of the chants that accompanied the march, as young people continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The participation of parents in the protest marks an important development in the mobilization of recent days, showing that the dissatisfaction initially expressed by students and high school students is also finding support among citizens of other age groups.
Meanwhile, the protests have not been limited to the capital. In other cities across the country, students have boycotted classes and organized rallies, joining calls for change and the government's resignation.
