Tension has preceded the decisive match between Elbasan and Tirana, which is taking place at the “Elbasan Arena”. A large number of Tirana fans have traveled to Elbasan to support their team, creating long lines at the entrance to the stadium and bringing the presence of the two fan bases close to each other.
The early and strong rivalry between the fans of the two teams led to incidents even before the start of the match, where clashes were recorded between groups of fans. The tense situation continued inside the stadium, where dozens of fans entered the playing field, temporarily interrupting the match.
A group of fans from the capital have been involved in acts of violence and clashes near the stadium premises, causing moments of panic and tension among the fans. Numerous police forces have intervened in the area to neutralize the situation and avoid further escalation of the incidents.
Even during the match, the situation remained tense. A spectacular goal by Myslović further heightened the emotions in the stands, while the match was stopped for several minutes after a Tirana player was unable to execute a corner kick due to numerous objects being thrown onto the field, including noisy canisters.
After the intervention and communication between the director Guranjaku and the fans, the situation calmed down and the game resumed. Referee Xhaja gave the final warning for the match to continue under normal conditions.
