Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has stressed the importance of unity within the club at a delicate moment, amid inconsistent results and numerous rumors about the team's future.
"In a club you can't always agree; the important thing is to work for the good of the club," Allegri said at the press conference ahead of the match against Atalanta.
The Italian coach also praised the support of the fans, despite the protests that have accompanied the club recently. "So far, the fans have always been supportive and we have some of them tomorrow as well," he added.
In the red and black camp, the situation remains tense due to discussions about the management of the club and the role of executive director Giorgio Furlani, while speculation about the future of the technical staff and players is also circulating in the media.
Allegri stressed that there have been constant discussions within the club, but this is a normal part of working in a big team. "We don't always agree, but that's normal. The important thing is that we all work together for Milan," he said.
The coach added that he did not feel isolated and that the dialogue with the leaders has been continuous, while emphasizing that the team is building a strong foundation even with the new arrivals that are still being integrated.
"I want to stay at Milan for as long as possible," Allegri concluded.
