
The Albanian Football Federation (AFH) has officially renewed the contract with the coach of the Albanian National Team, Sylvio Mendes Campos Júnior (Silvinjo), as well as with his two assistant coaches, Pablo Zabaleta and Dorival Guidoni Junior, confirming the continuity of the technical project that has brought historic results for Albanian football.
Through an announcement published on the official Facebook page, the Albanian Football Association (AFH) announced that the new contract with the technical staff will be valid until July 2026, with the major objective of qualifying for the first time in Albania's history to the final stage of the World Cup.
"Under the leadership of coach Silvinjo, the Albanian National Team has made significant progress in organization, game identity and results, ensuring participation in the play-off phase of the 2026 World Cup for the first time."
In March, the Rossoneri will play a historic chapter, facing Poland in the play-off semi-finals on March 26, while in the event of qualification, they will face the winner of the Ukraine - Sweden match in the decisive final.
