
The Albanian U-21 National Team Shpresa played a luxury friendly match today at the "Elbasan Arena" against Germany U-21, which ended with the friendly team winning 0-2.
The match was characterized by a hard-fought and high-intensity game, where Alban Bush's red and black team tried several times to surprise the last finalists of the U-21 European Championship. In the ranks of the guests, during the first half, two footballers of Albanian origin, Brajan Gruda and Nelson Weiper, were also activated.
The first half ended goalless, but at the beginning of the second half the Germans showed efficiency. In the 48th minute, newly introduced striker Ansah gave the "Panzers" the lead, while just four minutes later, in the 52nd minute, Pejcinovic doubled the score, sealing the final score 0-2.
Despite the loss, Albania U-21 showed commitment and character on the field, leaving a positive impression against one of the strongest youth teams in Europe.
Meanwhile, the Shpresa National Team will not have an official match until the summer of 2027, when it will participate as a co-organizer with Serbia in the European U-21 Championship.
