In the second half, Vincent Kompany's team increased the intensity significantly and consolidated their dominance with four more goals. Leon Goretzka doubled the tally, while Michael Olise, Nicolas Jackson and Raphaël Guerreiro then sealed the 0-5 result, completing a convincing performance by the champions.
With this victory, Bayern Munich climbs to 76 points, further strengthening their position in the title race, which now seems like just a formality.
In the other matches of the week, Borussia Dortmund was narrowly defeated 1-0 by Bayer Leverkusen, while the Leipzig–Borussia Mönchengladbach match also ended 1-0. The Bundesliga will continue on Sunday with other interesting matches on the program.
