Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week after an impressive performance.
The 40-year-old was crucial in Bayern's victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, making several excellent saves.
Neuer triumphed in the competition for this award against well-known names such as David Raya (Arsenal), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Paris Saint-Germain) and Julián Álvarez (Atlético Madrid).
The return matches are expected to take place next week, where the teams that will advance further in the competition will also be determined.
